About Roland Waits:

Roland has been a resident of Georgetown and has worded for the Georgetown Police Dept for 30-years. He currently serves as the Assistant Chief of Police and also works as a Iicensed Professional Counselor. This year, he and his wife Karin have started Bright Wellness Therapies, PLLC as a way to continue serving the Georgetown community. Roland has been blessed to serve with a variety of non-profits in Georgetown and Central Texas over the years and is always amazed at the "giving hearts" in our community! Roland and Karin enjoy getting together with family, spending time with their crazy dogs, and traveling.

Why CASA is important to Roland:

"Seeing firsthand the struggles of children and adolescents in our community over the years has had a dynamic impact on my heart. Being a kid is sometimes incredibly difficult, but doing it alone is unimaginable! Having someone on your team that has your best interests at heart, will stand and fight for you, and help provide a place of love, peace, and respect. .. is priceless!"
