About James Arrington:

James is an advocate supervisor with CASA of Williamson County and has been with organization for over 7 years, first as a volunteer and now as a part of the organization’s amazing staff. James has his bachelor’s degree in theatre, master’s degree in Conflict Resolution and Reconciliation, and juris doctorate – very much a jack-of-all-trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one. Clearly, James is bilingual with sass and sarcasm as his first language and English as his second.

While James is trying to figure what life looks like outside of law school and studying for the bar, he enjoys existing with his husband Adam and their two Corgis – Lindy and Cole. In the abundance of free time James now finds himself possessing, he enjoys traveling, playing video games, Lego building, and staring off into the endless sea of time and space. James is not only thrilled to be your 2024 Sole Man, but to represent CASA of Williamson County as the sole male presenting staff member and mustache aficionado. Why CASA is important to James:

"CASA is important to me because children in the foster care system experience so much loss and trauma. With the tempestuous revolving door of strange, unrelated adults walking into and out of these children’s lives, often the only stable adult weathering the storm with these kiddos’ is the CASA volunteer who is tirelessly advocating for their best interest, safety, normalcy, and permanency."
