He holds a degree in criminology and has served his country with distinction in the United States Army, achieving rank of Second Lieutenant in the Military Intelligence branch. Now residing in Texas, DJ has successfully transitioned into a thriving career as a real estate professional, while also working part-time as a Master Personal Trainer at Crunch Fitness.
DJ is married to a wonderful wife who is dedicated to her career as an Infection Prevention Nurse Manager, overseeing two hospitals at Baylor Scott & White. Together, they have a 12-year-old son who attends Danielson Middle School. Their son is an enthusiastic athlete with a passion for baseball and football. DJ is deeply involved with his son's school community, currently serving as the Vice President of Events on the PTA board at Danielson Middle School.
Outside of his professional and community commitments, DJ enjoys a variety of hobbies.A former bodybuilder, he remains passionate about physical fitness and maintains an active lifestyle. He also loves traveling, exploring new places, and savoring great food. DJ's diverse interests and dedication to his family and community make him a well-rounded and respected individual in both his personal and professional life.
Why CASA is important to DJ:
The issue of child welfare is profoundly important to me because, as a personal trainer for almost 20 years and a coach of both baseball and football, I have seen firsthand the transformative power of positive influence and support in young lives. My role on the PTA board further fuels my passionfor our youth, as I am deeply committed to making an impact and helping to improve their lives in any way I can. Ensuring the well-being and development of our children is not just a professional obligation but a personal mission that drives me to contribute to a brighter, healthier future for the next generation.
Wine Women & Shoes Williamson County is an engaging and exciting fundraising event where community-minded, philanthropic women (and a few good men) gather to sip, shop, savor, and support CASA of Wiliamson County in a chic, fun, and innovative way. Join me at this year's event at the Georgetown Community Center on September 28, 2024 from 11:00-3:00PM. Learn more here.
