About Mike Howell:

Why CASA is important to Mike:
"Kids are challenging enough when they have loving parents with adequate resources. Foster kids can be at a disadvantage without the stability of their family. A kid in need is going to latch on to something that cares or perceived to care about them. The CASA leadership is committed to training caring volunteers to do a lot of the things kids parents would do. I used to think the organization was just showing up in court for kids. I now know that the volunteers mentor kids and are involved for important days for the kids lives like doctor appointments, school meetings, and hopefully reintegration with their family. Having a stable caring adult can help the kiddos be the adults we all know that they can be with helpful guidance."
Wine Women & Shoes Williamson County is an engaging and exciting fundraising event where community-minded, philanthropic women (and a few good men) gather to sip, shop, savor, and support CASA of Wiliamson County in a chic, fun, and innovative way. Join me at this year's event at the Georgetown Community Center on September 28, 2024 from 11:00-3:00PM. Learn more here.
