About Edgar:
I’m someone who values family, connection, and enjoying life’s little adventures. I come from a close-knit family of 8 brothers and a single mom. They help me stay grounded, humble, and true to myself. All along with some laughter. Outside of work I like to stay active physically and mentally by doing something outdoors, working out, or cooking something up in the kitchen with my girlfriend. For work I work as a manager for a company called TRU homes. I take lots of pride in building the best quality home for a family in need of a new one.
Why CASA is important to Edgar:
Every child deserves a healthy environment to grow up in. To help promote a healthy, bright future. The experiences they have early in life can impact who they become later in the future. To help break the cycle and ultimately create great leaders for our future. I’ve personally have had a small experience in what a small, helping gesture can influence upon me. Helps me wants to help whoever or wherever I can.

Wine Women & Shoes Williamson County is an engaging and exciting fundraising event where community-minded, philanthropic women (and a few good men) gather to sip, shop, savor, and support CASA of Wiliamson County in a chic, fun, and innovative way. Join me at this year's event at HighPointe Estate in Liberty Hill on September 26, 2026 from 11:00-3:00PM. Learn more here.
WHAT IS A SOLE MAN?
Our fabulous Sole Men play a hugely important role in Wine Women & Shoes, and we can’t imagine doing it without them. The Sole Men will have the opportunity to host the lovely ladies ready to sip, shop and support, all to benefit CASA of Williamson County. The Sole Men are in charge of greeting and escorting guests to the Marketplace, supporting wine service from sip-sational wine partners, presenting designer goodies on silver platters, selling entry tickets for Key to the Closet and bottles from Wall of Wine, promoting auction lots, and—most importantly—making every guest feel special. They often play key roles before the event, as well, by spreading the word to friends and colleagues, and competing for the coveted “King of Sole” crown through peer-to-peer fundraising.
